I am sending you this letter to enlist your help raising money to operate the Selah Aquatic Center Summer 2019.  Construction is going well and we are planning to be operational for June 1.  We need to have the funds in place to cover the insurance, power, and many other expenses by April 1.  Knowing how much we have collected will give us an idea how long our season will be.  After you read this, if you have questions or would like to help, please let me know.  

Our Goal:
To create the funds necessary to operate Selah's new aquatic center that we broke ground on in September 2018. The funds raised in this campaign will cover operational and associated costs for Selah's 2019 summer swim season.  If you are considering making a tax-deductible donation before the end of the year for next year's taxes, please know that the Selah Parks Foundation is a 501c3.  

Organization Description and Mission Statement

The Selah Parks Foundation Mission: Engage in directing activities to raise funds for the acquisition, development and enhancement of Selah parks facilities and recreational programs. The Selah Parks Foundation was formed to create significant opportunities for conservation, education and recreation. It allows interested individuals and groups to support projects and enhance the quality of life by preserving land, environment and natural heritage. The Selah Parks Foundation is a 501c(3) tax exempt public foundation. The Foundation is administered by a volunteer Board of Trustees.

Throughout this next year we will be sponsoring a variety of activities that will help fund our goal. As a community member we hope you’ll join in our endeavor of providing the community pool. Swimming pools offer a means of social interaction, relaxation and stress relief. In other words, swimming is not just exercise; it is a life-saving skill. Competition and camaraderie with other groups in tournaments and swim meets helps a community come together for a common goal. There are a variety of ways in which you can partner with us.
