Selah Dolphins Swim Team

The Selah Dolphins Swim Team (SDST) is an AAU summer swim team.  The Selah Dolphins have been swimming in Selah for more than 50 years.  SDST is a member of the Mid-Valley Swim League which includes teams in Naches, Toppenish, Sunnyside, Grandview, Prosser, Othello and Selah.  The team welcomes swimmers ages 5yrs - 18yrs with a wide range of swimming abilities and competitive goals.  We have a large team with about 175 swimmers participating the past few summers. 

The summer swim season generally runs from the first week of June through the last weekend in July.  We practice in the morning Monday-Friday from 7:00-9:30am, with age groups practicing in shifts within that time window.  See the practice schedule for exact practice times.  We have 12 league swim meets through the season, Tuesday and Thursday nights, with a home and an away meet against each team in the league.  

Swim team is an all volunteer family activity with opportunities and expectations for parent participation.  While coaches would love to see swimmers for every practice and meet, this is a summer activity.  The team is flexible with family vacations, other summer activities, and the occasional need to sleep in.  Enjoy your summer and make some lifelong memories with the Selah Dolphins.
